Bushido: Legend of the Samurai
Bushido is a 3rd person multi-player melee combat game set in Feudal-era Japan, with game-play similar to titles like Chivalry: Medieval Warfare and Mount & Blade: Warband.
Players will choose from an array of Samurai Armours and Weapons before launching into an objective based combat arena (with game modes such as Duel, Team Death-Match and Siege).
Game-play is fast, brutal, and will punish those who have yet to master the way of the sword. Warriors who choose to refine their skills and employ strategy in order to overcome their foes will stand the best chance of victory.
- A complex melee combat mechanic, derived from the teachings of Miyamoto Musashi
- A wide range of unlockable armour sets and customisation options
- A unique 'Honour System' - where your in-game actions affect how other players will treat you
- Beautifully re-created environments - all based on real historic locations from Japan
Originally starting life as a mod for the popular UDK title 'Chivalry: Medieval Warfare' - Bushido has evolved over the last 5 years from a simple art project into a fully fledged stand-alone game concept.
Meteor Pixel, the studio behind the game, were originally founded in 2011 - and have since grown into a flourishing indie studio offering outsourcing services in 3D Modelling, Animation, Game Design and Programming. The team work on Bushido in their spare time or between jobs, but are ready to take the plunge and begin work on the game full-time.
