Meteor Pixel Ltd was founded by Sam Ibbitson and Jason Raval, two school friends who have known each other for over 20 years. After a brief stint working along side each other, we decided to combine our skills and experience and found the studio you see today.
Since then Meteor Pixel has grown into a flourishing outsourcing studio. We have a diverse portfolio of clients (from small indie teams right up to blue chip corporate clients), and has contributed to a number critically and commercially successful projects.
We’ve also recently started developing our very own IP: ‘Tales from the Floating World’, an upcoming side-scrolling beat ‘em up inspired by retro classics such as Golden Axe or Streets of Rage. It features a unique art style inspired by Japananese woodblock print (Ukiyo-e) and brings to life characters, creatures and locations inspired by Japanese myth and folklore.
